The reason that Healing the Inner Child is important is that all of us have beliefs, consciously or subconsciously, and associated emotions of feeling afraid of being hurt, unsafe, not loved, not enough, not supported, controlled, not heard etc.
These beliefs and associated emotions, I call our inner child or 2 year old or ego.
Our 2 year old makes us feel separate from others and Spirit. It is constantly is running our lives whether we are aware or not. Now do you understand the need for healing the inner child? Watch anytime that you feel afraid, angry or sad, what are your thoughts and beliefs?
These emotions are keys to know when healing the inner child is best to do.
An example of how a healing the inner child happens is the following: The focus in my life and during sessions with you, is to be in meditative theta state with a magnified connection to Christ, the angels, and guides. I ask you what you call your higher self or God and help you to feel this connection with universal energy. Our hearts are linked as I tune into you and focus for 15 seconds or so becoming one with the emotion/mental part of you causing the imbalance. I am guided to feel see hear know what healing the inner child means in every way.
I help you also tune into yourself to do healing on the inner child also, though it is easy for us to have blind spots about ourselves.
Then I ask to find out what is needed in healing the inner child. I find those beliefs and emotions that change your body energetically Together we talk and fine fine tune these. In traditional therapy this process may take months for information to emerge and simplify. People I see are in too much pain to take months and are ready to access healing the inner child the first session. To me the real healing is in you doing healing the inner child homework half hour a day, that way you don’t need to have therapy twice a week. Healing the inner child really means that you are re-parenting yourself.
The most important aspect in healing the inner child for you is to practice receiving and feeling what happens in your body. Healing the inner child is like putting in a new video of how you want your life to be, feel and believe. To assimilate these beliefs and emotions takes more time than any therapist can spend, it is up to you to dedicate yourself and do the homework for a month minimum to notice your life around you changing.
